Child Visa
You can apply for child visa to settle in Australia with your parents if your parent is an Australian, Australia permanent resident or eligible New Zealand Citizen who are able to sponsoring you in the application.
You can either be in Australia or outside Australia when your parents submitting the application on your behalf.
You must be under 18 years old and single.
If you are 18 or over but less than 25, you must:
1. have never married, in a de facto relationship or engaged to be married,
2. be a full-time student since turning 18 years old and doing a post secondary professional, trade or vocational program and doing the program within 6 months of completion of secondary studies
3. never in full-time employment.
If you are disable and aged 18 or older, you are:
1. not engaged, married or have a de facto partner.
2. not in full-time work.
3. dependent on the sponsoring parent.
Adoption Visa
To apply for this type of visa, you must be are under 18 at the time when your application for this type of visa is decided, live outside Australia, and been legally adopted or legally in the process of being adopted by your sponsor (adopted parent)
Or your adopted parents have legally adopted you overseas and your adopted parents been living outside Australia for the past 12 months.
Orphan Relative
To sponsoring an orphan relative to live with and care for by you in Australia, you must have turned 18, be an Australian, Permanent resident or eligible new Zealand Citizen and usually live in Australia for a reasonable period.
The orphan relative is either in Australia or outside Australia, under 18 years old, single and the child's parents are either dead, incapable of caring for the child or their where about cannot be found.
Dependent Child
For a child to apply for this visa, you must be the parent holding a temporary Partner Visa or a Dependent Child visa and you wish to add your child into the subsequent Permanent Partner visa application.
Your sponsored partner is also willing to provide the sponsorship to the child in the application.
The child must be single and is younger than 18 years old or financially dependent on you or the child is incapacitated for work due to the total or partial loss of bodily or mental functions.
