 Skilled migration visa. 


If you have the professional and trade skills which is in demand in Australia, and also meet the minimum requirement of other criteria as listed in point score table,  it is possible for you and your family to consider applying for migration to Australia under various skilled migration visa listed below:


Skilled- Independent Visa

To be eligible to submit your Skilled- Independent; Subclass 189 Visa application, you will need to have:

 

  1. A suitable skills assessment outcomes with nominated occupation on Skills Occupation lists (SOL)

 

  1. Qualifying pass mark, which is 60 for most of the listed occupations or 65 to 75 for some of the occupations if such occupations have high number of EOI received by DIBP. 
  2. To find out your possible point scores, please refer to the point score table.

     
  3. Registered your EOI (Expression of Interest) at Skillselect.

     
  4. Received an invitation from SkillSelect, DIBP to apply for your skilled- Independent visa application.

Skilled- Nominated; Subclass 190 Visa


To be eligible to submit your Skilled- Nomination; Subclass 190 Visa application, you will need to have:

 

  1. A suitable skills assessment outcomes on nominated occupation as listed in http://www.immi.gov.au/Work/Pages/skilled-occupations-lists/csol.aspx

     
  2. Qualifying pass mark, which is 60 for most of the listed occupations or 65  to 75 for some of the occupations if such occupations have high number of EOI received by DIBP. 
  3. To find out your possible point scores, please refer to the point score table

     
  4. Registered your EOI (Expression of Interest) at SkillSelect.

     
  5. Received nomination by your selected state or territory government agency.

     
  6. Received an invitation from Skillselect, DIBP to apply you skilled-Nomination visa application.



EOI

It is very important to note that register at EOI is NOT a skilled visa application.  Therefore you will not be granted Bridging visa link to your EOI registration.


Your EOI is valid for 2 years and if you do not received any invitation after 2 years, your EOI will be removed permanently from SkillSelect.


If you received invitation to submit your skilled visa application, you will have 60 days to submit your visa application on the information as provided in your EOI.


If you received 2 invitations and you do not lodge a visa application within the validity timeframe, your EOI will be removed from SkillSelect.


If your actual points score in your skilled visa lodgement is different to the points score in your EOI and invitation letter, your skilled visa application will be refused by DIBP.
